Set up your extension. Record or dictate a session. Bring the note into your BestNotes Fresh forms.
Your administrator enables access once. Each clinician then installs the extension and opens BestNotes.
Already enabled for your clinic? Start with the extension.
For your account administrator
Open Settings → Security → Permission Groups. Select the clinical group, open User Settings, and enable Access Perspectives AI.
This gives clinicians in that permission group access to Perspectives.
Install Perspectives, then open the puzzle-piece menu in your browser toolbar and pin it so it stays easy to find.
Add Perspectives to Chrome ↗Log in to BestNotes. The Perspectives orb appears in the lower-left corner. Drag it anywhere that works for you.
Record during a session, or dictate a summary afterward.
Before recording a patient, obtain and document consent. Review the consent guidance.
Hover over the Perspectives orb and select the microphone. Recording continues if you close the sidebar.
Review the generated note for accuracy and completeness before saving it in BestNotes.
Use the browser version of your video call, in the same browser as Perspectives.
Open your Google Meet, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams call tab. Select Telehealth on the Perspectives orb, then select Record. When prompted, click the Perspectives extension in your toolbar to start recording.
Desktop meeting apps, including Zoom Desktop, are not supported by this workflow.
Obtain and document patient consent before recording. Follow your clinic’s policies and applicable requirements.
